Working at Coffee Culture is a great way to kick start your career, whatever you choose to do when you grow up! We offer comprehensive training to all staff and, while you’ll obviously learn about making excellent espresso coffee, you’ll also discover what it means to provide world class service, to be part of a busy high performing team and learn communication skills that will be useful wherever you go.
Our stores are really full-on and as part of our team, you’ll learn how to deal with stressful situations, how to pitch in and support others and you’ll get amazing job satisfaction that comes from doing a job to the best of your ability. We’re always on the look-out for confident, well-presented people who want to get involved with us to help make our stores rock.
Our staff tell us that working at Coffee Culture is fun and frenetic. You’ll get to come to our famous parties (costumes compulsory), hang out with people just like you, and get to know our fabulous guests who make every day so interesting. Did we mention the perks? Free coffee…….mmmm.
We offer on-going training in all aspects of store operations and also have unique supervisor training that combines leadership theories with grounded practical advice on how to lead a team and work together towards a common purpose.
Beyond supervisor level, we run small business training programmes at no cost for aspiring leaders. In these programmes, we teach everything we know about business including sales, marketing, planning, finance, commercial law, strategy and operations. We want our people to be as passionate as we are about making products and offering services that delight guests and make a valuable contribution to our communities. We’re sometimes asked why we would share all our secrets with people who might one day leave? That’s easy – because there are no real secrets to business success beyond working really hard, working smart and having a great time. And besides, most of our great people stay.
As a growing company, we have opportunities to further your career beyond the shop floor. We are committed to recruiting for key positions from our existing base of great people and are always keen to give people a chance to prove themselves in new roles. We see possibility everywhere and in everyone.
