Local Heroes Scholarships 2026 – 30 for 30

To celebrate 30 years of Coffee Culture, we are proud to award up to 30 x $500 Local Heroes Scholarships to secondary school students across the communities in which we operate.

These scholarships support young people who are actively making a difference through community-based projects, initiatives, leadership, sport, arts, cultural or environmental programmes.

The $500 grant is designed to help remove financial barriers and enable students to take their project further. Applicants must clearly outline how the funds will be used (for example: equipment, training, programme costs, event expenses or project materials).

Eligibility

Applicants must:

Be currently enrolled in a secondary school within a Coffee Culture community.
Be able to demonstrate positive impact within their local community.
Provide a clear breakdown of how the $500 will be used.

Supporting Documentation

All applications must:

Be endorsed and signed by a teacher, coach or recognised adult supporting the initiative.
Include a letter of support from that person.
Include a photo that may be used by the Foundation for promotional purposes if selected.
Be submitted using the official application form.
Applicants are welcome to include links to videos, websites or supporting material that help illustrate their project and impact.
